Coffee Geek Stuff
Indonesia was one of the first places where coffee was commercially grown outside of Arabia and Ethiopia. This rare Arabica coffee is named after North Sumatra's Mandheling people. Sumatra Mandheling is grown on the fertile volcanic slopes of Mount Leuser near the Port of Padang in the Batak region of West Central Sumatra. The Leuser Range is home to one of the most ancient and bio-rich ecosystems on the planet. The climate of Sumatra is hot, tropical, and humid, which makes it ideal for cultivating Arabica coffee beans.
